Ojai Valley Inn is Hiring a Retail Associate Near Ojai, CA
- Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discrete manner.
- Ability to maintain the standards of merchandising of the retail outlet/work space.
- Ability to handle cash, credit cards and gift cards with accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including use of percentages.
- Ability to use email.
- Ability to count and record inventory accurately.
- Ability to prioritize the work for the day/week
- Ability to read and effectively write, including maintaining filing system and logs.
- Ability to operate motor vehicle (for example: retail cart).
- Ability to lift and move approximately 30 lbs. including setting and storing in overhead areas.
- Ability to carry out all safety and emergency procedures (for example: fire, crowd control, inclement weather, emergency procedures).
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach.
- Ability to stand and walk on a prolonged/continuous basis.
- Ability to properly maintain and operate electronic equipment (example: calculator, telephone, printers).
- Ability to move freely within work area.
- Ability to work in temperature extremes.
- Computer literate.
- Work with minimal supervision
The pay for this position is $20/hour.
